The scholarship shall be given to a deserving graduating high school senior, who is furthering his or her formal education, i.e., University, College, Junior College, Trade School, etc.

The scholarship shall be $1,000.

Awarding the scholarship is not mandatory, since there may not be a deserving candidate.

The scholarship is awarded by a committee composed of the Band Director, President and Vice President based upon the following criteria:

• Length of service to the Band.
• Playing ability.
• Excellent attendance at rehearsals and concerts.
• Extra services for the Band.

In the event that the scholarship is awarded to more than one graduating senior, then the amount of shared scholarship may be less per receipent.
