Carnegie Hall Fund Raising

Performing at Carnegie Hall involves a financial commitment that the band board did not take lightly. Hall rental, including staff, band transportation, meals, etc. will be a minimum of $50,000 for the evening.

$50,000 was out of our budget, but before we decided this was impossible, an anonymous philanthropic organization approached our director, James Bast, with a very generous offer. They would help sponsor our event with a dollar-for-dollar match of all revenue received by the band until May 1, 2017, up to a maximum of $20,000. This assistance gave us the confidence to proceed.
